BJP announces heads of its three organisational districts in Kozhikode

Kozhikode City, Kozhikode North and Kozhikode Rural organisational districts have separate presidents

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kozhikode now has three district presidents. Kozhikode has been divided into three organisational districts, Kozhikode City, Kozhikode North and Kozhikode Rural, in an effort to strengthen party activities at the grassroots level.

The new president of the Kozhikode City organisational district is K.P. Prakash Babu, former State president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He contested from the Kozhikode parliamentary constituency in 2019.

C.R. Praphul Krishnan, who contested from the Vadakara Loksabha constituency in 2024, is the new president of the Kozhikode North organisational district with its headquarters at Vadakara. A teacher at the SGMSB School at Vadakara, he had succeeded Mr. Prakash Babu as the State president of the BJYM.

T. Devadas, a native of Nanmanda, will lead the Kozhikode Rural organisational district, with its headquarters at Balussery. A teacher at the AUP School, Nanmanda, he has just a few months to retire from the service.
