Sheeran’s ‘Mathematics tour kicked off in Pune on January 30 with an electrifying performance

As part of his six-city Indian tour, British pop sensation Ed Sheeran met legendary composer AR Rahman and his son AR Ameen ahead of his much-anticipated concert in Chennai on February 5. The meeting took place at Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, where Sheeran had the opportunity to interact with students and even sing his hit song Perfect alongside the institute’s choir.

Rahman took to Instagram to share moments from their meeting, posting pictures of himself and Sheeran engaged in conversation. One image captured the Photograph singer snapping a picture of Rahman at his music console.

Sheeran’s Mathematics tour kicked off in Pune on January 30 with an electrifying performance. Sporting a t-shirt emblazoned with “Pune,” he expressed his excitement about bringing his music to new Indian cities, having previously performed only in Mumbai. He later performed in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City on February 2, with singer Armaan Malik opening the show.

The Grammy-winning artist will continue his tour with concerts in Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Delhi-NCR.
