Kudumbashree kicks off food festivals across Kerala

The Kudumbashree Mission is organising food festivals in all districts of the State.

The food festivals are being held in two locations in each district. Stalls selling Kudumbashree products and cultural programmes too will be held to enhance the aim of women entrepreneurs.

At present, the food festivals are on in Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts, while they will begin in days to come in other districts.

Food from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Malabar will be served by best entrepreneurs in the fields of canteen and catering at these festivals.

The Kudumbashree has provided financial assistance to the respective district missions for conducting the food festivals. NABARD too is making financial support available.
