The trailer of Laila, Telugu actor Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film, was released by the makers on Thursday (February 7). Directed by Ram Narayan of Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku-fame, the film is set to release in theatres on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

In the trailer, we see a beauty parlour being wrecked by hooligans. We are told that the police are after the beauty parlour’s owner and make-up artist, Sonu (Vishwak), for endangering the life of an MLA. Stuck between the cops and a gangster (Abhimanyu Singh) who is after him, Sonu chooses an unbelievable disguise: he puts on the appearance of a woman named Laila. A comedy of errors begins when the gangster falls in love with Laila. The trailer promises a wacky comedy drama on cards.

Written by Vasudeva Murthy, Laila features Akansha Sharma as the female lead. Actor Babloo Prithiveeraj is also playing a pivotal role.

With music scored by Leon James, the film has cinematography by Richard Prasad and editing by Sagar Dadi. Sahu Garapati produces the film under the Shine Screens banner.
