KIMS Sunshine Hospital on Monday (February 10, 2025) inaugurated a self-defence workshop aimed at equipping its female employees, including nursing staff and doctors, with essential skills for personal safety. The initiative, launched in collaboration with Yodha Martial Arts Academy, seeks to enhance both the mental and physical resilience of the hospital’s female workforce.

Speaking at the event, Dr. A. V. Gurava Reddy, managing director of KIMS Sunshine Hospital, underscored the importance of self-defence training in today’s society. “In an environment where women continue to face risks of attacks and harassment, it is imperative that they possess the necessary skills to protect themselves,” he said.
