BJP MP Radha Mohan Das Agrawal raises the issue of 22 illustrations missing in most copies of the Constitution sold today. Chairman Dhankhar asks the Leader of the House to ensure that only the authentic version of the Constitution is available. “Any violation of this should be taken seriously by the government, and severe action (should be) taken,” Chairman says.

This is unnecessary, says Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge. “They are trying to create a controversy around the Constitution signed by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar,” he says. Chairman Dhankhar objects. “I have seen and studied the Constitution, there are no photos of Lord Krishna (as mentioned by BJP MP Agrawal) in it.”
