A part of the hackathon series by Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in compliance with the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) advisory, the hackathon series will be conducted in association with different IITs, universities, and science institutions. The hackathon will focus on issues such as endpoint security, fraud prevention, and advanced fraud detection mechanisms. The event is open to students and scholars of the institute.

The bank and the institute recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Binaya Bhusan Dikshit, general manager (digital business and fintech partnership) of Indian Bank and Manu Santhanam, dean (industrial consultancy and sponsored research) at the institute were signatories of the MoU.
