Sunni scholar Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliar has said that countries including India should come forward to take steps to set up a Palestine nation with Jerusalem as its headquarters.

He said that the global society should react when the leader of a nation says that the people of a country would be expelled from their land and that they would not be allowed to enter there. All peace-loving nations should come forward to honour the rights of the Palestinians over their land, which had been usurped by others.
